Upon initial assessment, I will work with you in defining what it is that you hope to achieve in therapy. It is my goal to see all of my clients make the most progress in the shortest period of time. I will create an individualized treatment plan to guide our sessions and help keep you on track.
My treatment approach is eclectic and I pull from a variety of therapeutic counseling theories, including Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (commonly referred to as CBT). You will learn coping skills to combat symptoms of anxiety & depression.
Recovering from an addiction is a process and you need someone who knows how to guide you along the path. I can help you in identifying what steps you will need to take to build a strong recovery foundation and stay the course.
We will develop a relapse prevention plan based on your specific triggers and risk factors, as well as form success strategies using your unique abilities and areas of interest. We will also discuss managing urges and cravings and how to deal with Post Acute Withdrawal Syndrome (not to be confused with acute withdrawal which requires medical attention). You will walk away from our sessions with identifiable tools to assist you on your journey.
Family / Couples
Life coaching is a supportive partnership. Less intensive than therapy, my coaching provides encouragement and focused problem-solving to guide you on matters having to do with areas such as your career, weight loss or other personal challenges.

All sessions are available online! Online therapy is similar to in-person therapy in that you will meet one-on-one with your therapist in a private setting, except instead of going to an office you will participate in a video chat. Though this may sound daunting to some, it is actually very easy!
